Since huge  waste generated by the populace is a very big problem & headache for Governments to manage it , Govt. of India  and Many  State Departments  are encouraging  the setting up of  Biogas &  Gobar Gas Plants in various Town Panchayaths , Taluka Municipal Councils,  City Corporations etc. under Directorate of Municipal Administration Departments     And also RDPRD Departments by converting Organic Food Waste into Energy for the utilization of Gas for Green Cooking & Power Generation in and around these places to lessen the burden  on the existing fossils fuel consumptions.

• It prevents the health hazards of smoke in poorly ventilated rural households that use dung cake and fire-wood for cooking.
